CONGRATULATIONS ON ENROLLING IN our summer teen intensive

We look forward to welcoming you to The Studio as part of our teen class soon! Please note, there is a small amount of homework that needs to be completed prior to the course beginning, so please read all the information below carefully.

PRE-COURSE HOMEWORK

Students will need to prepare and memorise one monologue (approx 2 minutes in length), preferably from a play script, rather than a film or television script. If possible, it is advised that you read the entire script from which your monologue is taken. Please also find and bring along 1 quote that means something to you, and a short paragraph from a book that means something to you.

What to bring to class:

  • 2 printed copies of your chosen monologue
  • Your quote and book paragraph
  • A notepad and pen (and a backup pen!)
  • Voice recorder (most smart phones are capable of this)
  • Bottle of water, lunch and snacks

COURSE DATES AND CLASS TIMES

For more information on course dates and times please refer to the Classes page.

STUDIO INFORMATION PACK

There are various procedures and guidelines in place here at The Studio in relation to the space and how to utilise it so everyone can enjoy a clean and safe working environment. Please read The Studio Information Pack, which includes information on kitchen use, rehearsal space hire, parking and public transport, etc. You can access it by clicking here. Please take the time to read this carefully, as it will hopefully answer a lot of your questions prior to beginning the course.
