Monologue Essentials

Monologue Essentials

The Studio is pleased to offer all actors an opportunity to sample our training before booking into a course. Sample classes and lectures are hosted roughly every 4-8 weeks. These classes will be of most benefit to those interested in the Full-Time, Part Time, 10 Week, or Youth Program, however all parties are welcome and will find the sessions to be highly informative, practical and hands-on.

The online Monologue Workshop begins with a 20 minute lecture which introduces a number of key concepts and ideas that we subsequently use to explore monologues presented by workshop participants.

To attend this class please prepare a short 1-3 minute monologue from a piece of theatrical writing (not film or TV). Please memorise your monologue and send a copy to admin@howardinestudio.com.au prior to the class commencing.

It is not compulsory to present a monologue (guests are welcome), but it is greatly encouraged.
