FREE ONLINE SAMPLE TECHNIQUE CLASS

The Studio is pleased to offer all actors an opportunity to sample our training before booking into a course. Sample classes are hosted roughly every 4-8 weeks. These classes will be of most benefit to those interested in the Full-Time, Part Time, 10 Week, Master Class, Open Access and Youth programs, however all parties are welcome and will find the class to be highly informative, practical and hands-on.

During these classes, actors have the opportunity to explore the techniques championed by The Studio and apply core principles to assigned acting exercises. Towards the end of the class, in the time available, students also have the chance to work on a monologue. It is not compulsory to present a monologue, but it is encouraged.

HOW TO ATTEND

This class will be hosted on Zoom. As some of our classes are hosted in LA and some in Australia, you may not receive your Zoom link until a few hours before the class begins. Typically Zoom links are sent 4-48 hours before a class begins. You do not need to have a Zoom account to participate. You will however need a desktop, laptop, tablet or phone to attend.

WHAT TO PREPARE

All students are encouraged to prepare a 1 minute monologue to be work-shopped in the sample class. Please email a copy of your monologue prior to the class starting to admin@howardfinestudio.com.au.
