2027 PROFESSIONAL YOUTH ACTING PROGRAM | AUDITIONS OPEN
Applications are now open for the 2027 One-Year Youth Professional Acting Program at Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia.
Auditions are held online from Late September and offered on a rolling basis. Early applications are encouraged, as places may be offered before the final closing date.

Rolling Auditions: Held online from Late September 2026 through February 2027, with early offers.

A member of the team will then be in touch to organise the online audition.
Audition Prep:
Prepare one monologue, 1-3 minutes in length. The monologue will be workshopped during the audition.
You are welcome to select your monologue from our collection HERE, however, we encourage you to search for pieces that do not feature in our collection. We also recommend that you have a look at the monologue selection from Humans of New York, as options.Recommended to read Fine on Acting: A Vision of the Craft (focus on the ‘Eight Steps’ chapter) and to watch ‘The Common Mistakes’ or attend a sample class prior to audition

WHAT TO PREPARE
Attendees are provided with the opportunity to workshop a monologue and experience the speed and impact of our techniques first hand.
Presenting a monologue is not mandatory, but those wishing to take advantage of this opportunity should prepare a one-minute piece and email a copy to admin@howardfinestudio.com.au prior to the event.
