Located in the heart of Brunswick, Howard Fine Acting Studio offers professional, versatile spaces available for hire to the broader creative community.

Whether you're running rehearsals, hosting a workshop, filming, or staging a small performance, our fully equipped studios and black box theatre provide a welcoming and functional environment for your creative work.

Our facilities include a 70-seat theatre, flexible studio spaces with natural light, and access to shared amenities like a kitchen, waiting areas, and a printer/copier. Designed with artists in mind, each space has been fitted out to support a range of performance, training, and production needs.

WARNING: The Howard Fine Acting Studio is a very active space, with classes, rehearsals, meetings and general hubbub at all hours. If noise pollution will be an issue for your intended activity we recommend looking for an alternate venue.

Theatre
SIZE: 48 sq. m.
CAPACITY: 50 people.
The theatre is a versatile space, featuring wooden floorboards, a tiered seating bank, and foldable chairs. It’s best suited to rehearsals, workshops and small performances.

Studio 1
SIZE: 28 sq. m.
CAPACITY: 10 people - 18 (depending on usage).
Studio 1 features carpeting, white walls and black foldable chairs available for use. It’s best suited to rehearsals, very small workshops and auditions.

Studio 2
SIZE: 22 sq. m.
CAPACITY: 10 people.
The smallest of our spaces, Studio 2 features carpeting, and is best suited to small rehearsals and workshops, and auditions.

Downstairs Theatre

CAPACITY: 25 people.
The downstairs theatre is accessible via the laneway next to the Studio. At the moment it is best suited to rehearsals and workshops. We have a small amount of props and furniture available for use in the space.
