Howard Fine Acting Studio – Studio Policy
At Howard Fine Acting Studio, we are committed to fostering a safe, professional, and supportive environment where actors can fully engage in their craft. By enrolling in our programs, students agree to uphold the following studio policies:
Professional Conduct
Our studio is a space for learning and artistic growth. We expect students to approach their training with professionalism, mutual respect, and a commitment to the work.
Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or conduct that negatively impacts the learning environment will not be tolerated.
Substance-Free Policy
We have a zero-tolerance policy for attending class under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Any student suspected of being impaired will be asked to leave immediately. Violations may result in dismissal from the program without refund.
Smoking, vaping, or the use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on studio premises.
Mental Health & Well-Being
Acting can be an emotionally demanding practice, and we recognise the importance of mental health. While our faculty and staff are here to support you, we encourage students to seek professional help when needed.
If you are struggling with your mental health, please communicate with a faculty member or the administration so we can assist you in finding the right resources. Your well-being is a priority.
Attendance & Commitment
Consistent attendance and full participation are expected in all classes. If you are unable to attend a session, please notify your instructor in advance.
Arriving on time is essential. Late arrivals disrupt the flow of class and may result in being asked to observe rather than participate.
Respect for the Studio & Fellow Students
Our studio is a shared space. Keep it clean, respect studio property, and be mindful of others.
Personal belongings should be put away in an appropriate manner so as not to disrupt the use of the space for others, and all mobile devices must be silenced during class.
Confidentiality & Artistic Integrity
The work done in class is personal and should be treated with care. Do not record, photograph, or share details about other students' work without explicit permission.
Any material performed in class should be approached with sensitivity and awareness of its impact on fellow students.
Policy Violations
Failure to comply with these policies may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the program. The Howard Fine Acting Studio reserves the right to take appropriate action in cases where the learning environment is compromised.
By enrolling in any course at Howard Fine Acting Studio, you agree to abide by these policies to maintain a respectful, safe, and professional training space for all.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these policies, please contact the studio administration.
