DRAMA SCHOOL AUDITION WORKSHOP
How to stand out, stay truthful, and succeed in your drama school audition.
Thinking about applying to drama school? Maybe NIDA, VCA, or WAAPA; or exploring professional actor training at Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia?
Discover what directors and assessors are really looking for, and learn how to bring your most truthful, grounded work into the audition room.
Join Studio Director Philip Hayden for a free, two-hour workshop designed specifically for aspiring drama school applicants.
You’ll start with a 20-minute talk on how to approach monologues, what separates a great audition from a forgettable one, and how to show your best work under pressure. Then, you’ll put that knowledge into practice in a monologue workshop; an opportunity to perform, receive feedback, and observe others in action.
This session is your chance to learn what it really takes to get in; and how to bring your most truthful, grounded self to the audition room.
